Community Partnerships

At Greater Good Charities, we know lasting change doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It takes communities, corporations, governments, and volunteers—each bringing their voice, their skills, and their resources to the table. By listening first and building strong partnerships, we ensure that every solution is grounded in local need and amplified for global impact.

The Big Picture

No one organization can solve hunger, displacement, overpopulation, or disaster recovery alone. When communities aren’t asked what they need, help can miss the mark—or worse, create waste. That’s why our partnerships start with listening. We ask, “What do you need most?”  Then we unite the right partners to meet that need.

Together, we multiply impact: corporate partners prevent millions of pounds of waste by donating products, volunteers double our capacity to respond, and governments help us ensure aid is safe, legal, and targeted. This collective approach transforms one act of generosity into sustainable change.

Our Impact

$108M in disaster support across 26 countries last year

5.2M people and pets supported directly

30,000 volunteer hours donated annually

40M+ pet meals distributed through community partners

How We Work

Partnerships are at the core of everything we do. They prevent waste by rescuing usable goods and keeping them out of landfills. They multiply impact by turning one donation into ten times its value on the ground. They empower communities by centering local voices in decision-making. And they build trust through transparency, accountability, and shared purpose.

Together, we’re not just delivering aid—we’re building resilient communities, amplifying generosity, and creating solutions that last. Here are some of our core partners:

Corporate Partners: Amplifying Impact

Our corporate partners keep shelves stocked, clinics supplied, and disaster caches full. Sometimes that means donating short-dated products, surplus goods, or even furniture for domestic violence shelters. Other times, it means sponsoring events where employees pack thousands of emergency supply packs—stretching every dollar tenfold through our logistics network.

We customize every partnership to align with a company’s philanthropic and marketing goals, while making sure donations reach the last mile safely and transparently. For partners, it’s good business. For communities, it’s life-changing.

Volunteers: The Heart of Our Work

Volunteers double our workforce, allowing us to respond faster and farther than we ever could alone. They’re veterinarians performing spay/neuter surgeries in remote communities, carpenters repairing shelters, or caring hands packing disaster relief kits.

In 2025 alone, volunteers gave 30,000 hours—approximately 20,000 of them from veterinary professionals—helping us provide expert care and urgent aid where it’s needed most. Every hour donated extends our reach and deepens our impact.

Governments: Building Long-Term Solutions

Strong community change requires public partnerships. In Greece, we worked with ministries to run spay/neuter clinics for pets and stray animals in refugee camps. In Austin and Puerto Rico, we’ve partnered with local governments to provide mass spay/neuter clinics, reducing pet overpopulation and improving public safety.

By working hand-in-hand with local leaders, we ensure our programs don’t just arrive in a community—they last.

Ambassadors: Connecting the Last Mile

Our ambassador network of local nonprofits ensures that products—from pet food to pharmaceuticals—reach the families, shelters, and communities they’re meant for. Ambassadors act as trusted connectors, reporting back impact data so donors know exactly where their contribution landed.

This “last-mile” model prevents waste, protects brand integrity, and ensures every resource goes where it’s most needed.

“The best part of the experience for me is being around the volunteers and staff. Getting away from clinical life and helping the community, being able to practice medicine without worrying about the practice. The Alaskan people were the kindest folks I’ve run into in a long time.”

–  Alaska, June 2025 volunteer

“I continue to be impressed with the [Greater Good Charities] team and volunteers. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, with none of the drama I've witnessed elsewhere. This crew truly embodies the concept of teamwork. All hands pitch in, on everything, and happily.”

– Austin, Texas, September 2024 volunteer

Overall everything was extremely well run, with the Good Fix crew being not only consummate professionals, but truly wonderful human beings in the way they interacted with staff, volunteers, partner organizations, and the local population.”

– Oklahoma, March 2025 volunteer

“Getting to know the team members I hadn’t worked with before and the local volunteers was incredible. Joking around with the doctors/techs is always a highlight of any GGC experience. I felt very supported and cared for by staff this trip, they checked in on me regularly and gave advise when I was feeling down.”
